After school yoga practice allows kids to unwind, connect with friends, and explore focus, breathing, relaxation and mindfulness through the tools of yoga. Children build confidence, strength, flexibility and body awareness through the exploration of many yoga postures. Mindfulness practices allow students to build focus and concentration, as well as develop a sense of quiet mind. Yoga poses, breathing and guided meditation are integrated to create a positive class experience that ends with sweet relaxation.
This class is designed for Kg-2nd grade. 5 year olds much be in Kindergarten to enroll in this class.
