“Girl Power” Yoga focuses on the power within girls to connect, explore and grow into confident young women. This class provides a safe, non-competitive activity for Tweens to simply let go and de-stress. Middle school can be a difficult place for young women and our focus is to offer tools and practices to combat the stress that some girls experience. We will explore an age appropriate practice of yoga (ranging from sun salutations to restorative practice) as well as time to unwind and connect with peers. Creativity flows through our activities and our yoga practice. The focus of Girl Power Yoga is for Tweens to build confidence, friendships and self-esteem while being empowered to let their true self shine through
