A Columbia native, before teaching kids yoga, Cindy Calvin was a group fitness teacher for over 10 years. After having her first child in 2011, she felt the need to feed not just her body but her mind and soul. At this time she found a consistent yoga practice and after three more years begin training and teaching adult yoga.
Seeing what a positive influence mindfulness and yoga made in her own life, Cindy recognized the opportunity to share the same with kids. Her goal is to teach children about their bodies, to give them mindfulness tools to navigate the world around them, and to help foster awareness and loving kindness for themselves, other people and nature alike.
