Amber has been working with young children and families for the past 20 years in various settings; including preschools, Head Start programs, a state-wide assessment system, her own home-based child care program and most currently homeschooling her own two children and teaching Mommy/Baby, Toddler/Parent and Family Yoga. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Children in Group Settings.

Amber took her first yoga class in 1997 and has been practicing since. She trained with Susan Mathis, receiving her 95-hour YTG Certification in Spring 2015 and completed a Mommy and Me Yoga Teacher Training program in Boulder, CO with Katie Wise at YoMama Yoga Studio. Amber completed her 200 Hour YTT at Yoga Source in St. Louis, MO.

She believes in the power of yoga to help restore and rejuvenate parents and provide tools to help navigate through the joys and challenges of parenting. Amber also sees the benefits of yoga for the youngest children in body and breath awareness, social interaction with peers, and bonding with parents in a playful, positive environment.
