Marnie has always been interested in creative movement, psychology and spirituality. She became a student of Sukha Yoga Center in 2004 when seeking ways to regain the flexibility she had once had as a dancer. She found flexibility not only in her body, but in her mind and spirit. She has been practicing yoga regularly ever since and has attended a number of workshops and training sessions to expand her knowledge and gain an understanding of its benefits, particularly for children. Marnie feels blessed to have found her path to help children receive the skills to open their hearts and still their growing minds while strengthening their bodies. It is a gift that will benefit them throughout their lives. Marnie is a currently teaches yoga to 7th and 8th grade students at a local school. She enjoys teaching children ages three to 14 year of age and specializes in leading classes at schools, community programs such as the Boys and Girl Scouts and special event classes and parties.
